Patricia’s story on Easter 1916 by William Butler Yeats

I love this poem, as the anniversary of 1916 will be soon upon us, also because I think Ireland is slipping back into the past, I have had three children who lost business’s through this recession, with one losing his house, three of them emigrated, the youngest came home because his wife missed her family so much and is still not working, these people worked so hard and were never out of work till then. My brother who lived in the USA said we don’t live in Ireland we just survive. Ah yes a terrible beauty is born.
